Modus Vivendi

Teatr Brama invites you on March 5th at 19:00 to Rampy Kultura for a performance by the Greek theater “Omma Studio” titled “Modus Vivendi.”

About the performance:

What is the best way to live? How should one live?

The performance is primarily based on Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters, but it also includes excerpts from other plays that pose existential questions, featuring works by Chekhov, Ibsen, Michel de Ghelderode, as well as poems by T.S. Eliot and passages from the Bible.

Today’s digital world amplifies loneliness and creates fictional realities. Can theater, through classical texts, literature, and poetry, offer a way back to a life rich in emotions, humanity, and solidarity? The performance explores these questions through the encounter of three women, drawing from Three Sisters to reflect on whether the world can become a better, more bearable place.

While the author highlights what should be avoided, these three sisters attempt to show a way forward. They will explore the journey from innocence to despair, shedding light on human behavior and demonstrating how relationships?through acceptance, understanding, and compassion?can either overcome loneliness or confirm the impossibility of symbiosis.
